We had a plumbing issue with toilets backing up into the shower and tub and several house guests visiting. We called and talked to David who sent John out within a short time to check the source of the problem . John was very polite and personable and explained the options..he was able to find the clog in the line and fix the problem...we were so relieved to have the issue resolved on a Saturday before a holiday week and especially with houseguests! The charges were very reasonable and we are so pleased...we will be using this company for any future plumbing issues in the future!

Instead of just replacing the assembly he took time to analyze the situation as to why the rust was there. The theory is the vent cap on the roof allows water to travel down the vent pipe during hard rains and put the flame out. He cleaned rust off a few parts, put them back in place. We will wait until the next blowing rain and see if the theory is correct. This has been an ongoing issue since the house was built.
We appreciated that he didn't just replace the part and call it fixed.
He is a professional young man and his bill was very reasonable.

David and his brother just left my house after fixing my leaky sink. I rent the house, and have been trying to get this sink fixed for about 2 months. If you need a good, honest, straight talking skilled plumber, get with David Richards and his team at Clear and Present Plumbing. I had a water leak in my yard and got on Yelp and looked up plumbers and sent out a request to several for quotes and availability through the Yelp app. I got 3 replies but David's was the first and most detailed, so I decided on him and his company. I finalized the appointment for Feb 9, 2018 through the Yelp app. David and his apprentice Brother James provided a courtesy text that they were in route to my home and arrived during the appointed time. I was very pleased. These guys wasted no time in getting started, finding the issue and proceeded to make the repairs all while keeping me informed of the repair progress. The issue was a bad elbow joint that broke from ground shift and root growth. David and James replaced this with a stronger 90 degree joint and encased in sand after removing the roots so the repair would hold and even provided a 1 year warranty on the fix. So it was better than ever now and the final cost of the fix was actually $25 less than the original guesstimate. I was beyond pleased. To top it off, David sent the detailed invoice by email and it had a link attached to make the payment easily with a multitude of payment methods which was super convenient. I will not hesitate to contact Clear and Present Plumbing again for my plumbing needs. VERY RECOMMENDED!!

On two occasions I contacted Clear and Present Plumbing for services at my home. One was for the repair of under-sink waste lines for my kitchen sinks and garbage disposer while the other was a much larger and more complex project to install a new natural gas line to my range. Both projects were done to my complete satisfaction. The gas line required opening walls and working in the limited confines of my attic space. The quality of the work was excellent. Permits and inspections were taken care of and the work sites were completely cleaned when the jobs were finished. Prices were reasonable, work was completed as committed, costs were on budget (much less than competitive bids), and all appointments were on time.

I highly recommend David Richards from Clear and Present Plumbing. Should I need plumbing services in the future, I will not hesitate reaching out to David. In fact, I will not bother getting competitive bids because it will not be necessary.

I needed someone to go look at my rental property ASAP. Tenant said there was a leak etc. I messaged 5 businesses with info etc. Clear and present plumbing was the only one who could get to the house within a week, actually the next day!! I let him know I was the landlord so I needed the info ahead of starting work. ,the second call David answered learned of our problem and said he would be here within 15 minutes, he arrived 12 mins later secured the leak told us what was required and promised to fix it next day around 4 pm when his other calls were completed. he came about 3pm replaced the tank fitted it with a drain line in case of further problems and when he presented the bill i was pleasantly surprised, not only were his labor costs VERY REASONABLE he didnt add on for emergency after hours call, not many contractors i know of do that

This is a great plumbing company. I am 74 and have dealt with a lot over the years. They are so efficient and thoughtful and take so much pride in their work. I will sing their praises to anyone that listens. THEY ARE GREAT!!!!

I am 70 yrs old & David Richards is absolutely the best plumber I have dealt with in my life. He is young & is trying to build his business the right way, courtesy , professional , thoughtful & dependable. Called himto fix a leak in our dishwasher. He responded to my call promptly & came within a few hours. He located the source of the leak and fixed it. He took his time & tested the repair. We thought it was fixed but two days later it started to leak again. He had told me that if it didnt work might need to replace the part but he would return for no charge but the part. He called & found out the part had to be ordered but wouldnt come in till day after I was leaving town. Got the part place to get a priority shipment for $ 55 plus the part was $ 50. He stated he woulf pay for the part if I paid shipping. Today he replaced the part & also found out water pressure was to high which may have attributed to the leak. Then when I tried to pay for the shipping he refused saying I had gone thru too much with him having to come back 3 times. I will definitely call him again!!

I used David to fix a nagging odor problem and install two toilets - and a bidet. He came the same day I called. He explained everything he was doing to track the odor problem. Can one have a "pleasant" plumbing experience? I did when I hired David to find some problems I was having with odor and the installation of 2 new toilets. TMI? He checked vents and used a camera to see if there were any clogs in my drain. He explained what he was doing and why. He fixed the problems and all is working well. I had put up with my plumbing problems for months. I had called one other plumber and after he hadn't come in two weeks, I called David. He came the same day. I found that David has a Master Plumber's license, which is an added bonus. He was awesome! I highly recommend him.
